Christmas Market
More than 100 Christmas stalls along the main street and on the abbey square open a new era in Einsiedeln's traditional Christmas Markets.
Besides Christmas handicrafts, Glühwein (mulled wine) and gingerbread a broad variety of all sorts of goods is offered for sale.
Also a visit to the world's largest Christmas crib in the Diorama Bethlehem or to the gingerbread bakery museum at the "Goldpafel"-bakery are surely a must for any visitor to the Christmas market.
